ATT Women’s Tournaments in Hua Hin

06-27-16

The first two ATT women’s tournaments have been successfully completed at the True Arena Hua Hin, Thailand. The Finansia Syrus ATT Thailand W1 tournament and The Taiki-Sha ATT Thailand W2 tournament were both won by Thailand’s Chompoothip Jandakante. Jandakante was seeded 3rd and defeated 2nd seed Patcharin Cheapchandej in straight sets in the final of the first tournament. She went on to defeat 4th seed Plobrung Plipuech in the final of the second tournament, again in straight sets. Her dominance in the first two tournaments sees her with a healthy lead at the top of the ATT standings, with 24 points. Both the tournaments were officiated by experienced ATF referee Teerapat Sungkaworn. The tournaments were well received by the local crowd and people came out in large numbers to support the local favourites. The women’s ATT events will return to Hua Hin on 15th August 2016, and 4 more events are scheduled to take place there before the end of the year.
